Preface

It is not an exaggeration to use the twin flowers of "pottery" and "porcelain" to represent China. For thousands of years, she has performed thousands of styles in the hands of artists. From ancient times to modern times, from the East to the West, it has been loved by countless people around the world. It has become the most widely circulated, long-collected, and most-preserved artwork in the world today.
The joint exhibition of Chinese ceramic art master Huang Zhiwei and contemporary porcelain painter Cao Chi's pottery and colored porcelain Zhen Bao shows us that pottery and porcelain are still vivid and colorful.
Huang Zhiwei, a pioneer on the ceramic art road. In more than 30 years of artistic exploration, he has worked diligently and boldly absorbed the "eighteen methods" of Chinese line drawing and blended the essence of the block structure of the Han Dynasty and modern, developed a new method of pottery and sculpture-"line sculpture", and obtained a national invention patent. , Let the classical beauty be presented in a new posture, showing the otherworldly, pure and elegant sentiment. It opened up a new world of modern Shiwan pottery and sculpture techniques.
Cao Chi has studied painting since he was a child and has spent 20 years in the military. He creatively merged Chinese and Western art and formed his own unique painting language. He is the first Chinese artist to win a gold medal for his porcelain panel paintings at the Louvre International Art Exhibition in France, and is also the first porcelain artist in China to list his porcelain panel paintings on the market at the Melco River International Cultural Industry Exchange Center in Macau. The original ceramic "boneless painting" technique has given the porcelain painting a fresh life.
The two artists are respectively the art of pottery and porcelain, but they are similar in tune and have the same technique. Their creative vehicles and techniques are different, but there is an upward traction in their works-detachment. It is full of profound connotation and philosophy. It's the freedom and ease outside the detachment, and it's more calm and indifferent after experiencing the pain and joy of life. The two artists poured their souls into the works, so we have the strange appearance and colorfulness before our eyes.
