      Artist Biography

      Associate professor of Zhejiang Wanli University: Zhu Kaipei

      Born in June 1976, he graduated from the Department of fine arts, Jingdezhen Ceramic University in 2000 and studied as a post graduate in the Department of ceramics, China Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. He is now the inheritor of Yue Kiln celadon, an intangible cultural heritage in Ningbo, an associate professor of Zhejiang Wanli University and the director of ceramic home furnishing studio, Modern female ceramic artist, national first-class craft technician, standing director of Ceramic Art Committee of China Ceramic Association. He has participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad and received awards. He has published two monographs and more than 20 professional papers. The works are collected by Chinese Ministry of culture, Korean Zhichan Museum, Shanghai International Ceramic Museum, Yixing Ceramic Museum and other domestic and foreign institutions and private collections.
