Master of Chinese Ceramic Art: Xu Dingchang
Born in 1955, senior craft artist. Over the past 40 years, he has been pursuing celadon art, especially in the all hand drawing process. The work focuses on the Southern Song Dynasty official kiln style with thin fetal and thick glaze; the shape is simple and elegant; the glaze is applied many times to make the object thick and plump, warm and moist as jade; the exquisite trimming technology makes the work more exquisite and clever. Shape and color make people realize the artistic value of Longquan celadon. For this reason, with mud as a companion all his life, with his own wisdom and exquisite craft, he created pieces of beautiful Longquan celadon masterpieces. It has received many national gold, silver and bronze awards, and has been treasured by Zhongnanhai Ziguang Pavilion, the Great Hall of the people, domestic and foreign museums, art museums and celadon lovers.
