Born in 1949, he studied art with his father since childhood. In 1964, he entered Longquan Celadon Factory and successively served as deputy director of technology. Senior arts and crafts artist, visiting professor of Lishui University, master of Arts and crafts of Zhejiang Province. Committed to Longquan celadon production, management and technology research for more than 40 years. In 2004, Longquan celadon ice crack patterns were successfully fired, which made the manufacturing technology of Longquan celadon ice crack which had been lost for thousands of years brilliant again. "Longquan celadon ice crack manufacturing technology" has received the national intellectual property invention patent. On the basis of inheriting the traditional craft of Longquan celadon, the work innovates boldly and forms a unique artistic style. It has received gold and silver awards in national ceramic competitions for many times. He has designed and produced high-level gifts for vice president Xi Jinping, central leadership Li Peng and Li Tieying.
