LV (Louis Vuitton) Collab Artist——Wan Liya's ceramic and sculpture works
2019年开始，中国陶瓷艺术家万里雅应邀与LV （Louis Vuitton 路易威登）成功进行了包括中国北京，上海，香港，韩国釜山，泰国曼谷等多个亚洲项目的合作。2022年万里雅的“地球的脉搏” 新系列作品，又成功登陆即将主办世界杯足球赛的阿拉伯国家卡塔尔首都多哈。
Since 2019, Chinese ceramic artist Wan Liya was invited to cooperate with LV (Louis Vuitton) on several Asian projects including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Busan South Korea, and Bangkok Thailand. In 2022, Wan Liya's new series of "Pulse of the Earth" successfully landed in Doha, the capital of Qatar that will host the World Cup 2022.

万里雅作品介绍
Introduction of works
（1）地球的脉搏系列：《地球的脉搏》系列是从2016年开始，为参加河南博物院举办的《黏土之约-首届中原国际陶艺双年展》创作的参展作品。万里雅截取了来自世界不同地区的地震仪所记录的，某一段时间的地震记录曲线，通过中心轴线旋转所得到的形状，转化为他的陶瓷雕塑作品。从2019，万里雅应邀，与LV（路易威登Louis Vuitton)开始了亚洲项目的合作。合作项目中，《地球的脉搏》系列作品的外形，来自于艺术家所截取的，某一时刻，世界各大股市日K线，沿轴心旋转所得到的形状，转化成的雕塑作品。
THE PULSE OF THE EARTH: THE PULSE OF THE EARTH series was created in 2016. At that time, it was an exhibition work created for the First Central Plains International Ceramics Biennale held in Henan Museum. Wan Liya intercepted the seismogram curves recorded by seismographs from different parts of the world for a certain period of time, and the shape obtained by rotating the central axis was taken as the shape of his sculpture.Wan Liya has been invited to cooperate with LV (Louis Vuitton) in Asian projects since 2019. In the cooperation project, the appearance of the series of works "Pulse of the Earth" comes from the sculpture works intercepted by artists. At a certain moment, the K-line of the world's major stock markets rotates along the axis.
（2）新龙山系列：龙山文化发源于距今四千多年前的黄河中下游地区。山东省是龙山文化的主要发源地之一。2017年，万里雅参观山东诸城博物馆时。被馆藏的龙山文化蛋壳黑陶所深深地吸引。回到工作室后开始创作《新龙山》系列作品。
NEW LONGSHAN SERIES: Longshan culture originated in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River more than 4,000 years ago. Shandong Province is one of the main cradles of Longshan culture. In 2017, Wan Liya visited Zhucheng Museum in Shandong with his friends. He was deeply attracted by the mysterious ancient flavor and exquisite production skills contained in the eggshell black pottery of Longshan culture. After returning to the studio, he began to create a series of "New Longshan" ceramic works.
万里雅现任，国际陶艺学会(IAC)理事-中国区代表（国际陶艺学会是联合国教科文组织文化合作机构）.
从1989年开始陶艺创作并建立个人陶艺工作室。是较早参与中国现当代陶瓷艺术活动的艺术家。在中国陶瓷艺术的现代性进程中，起到了积极的作用。 历经三十多年的创作实践，万里雅逐渐探索出一条具有自身特征的工作方式。作品风格，分别呈现了艺术家，在不同阶段，对于陶瓷艺术与个人工作的思考。
万里雅的作品先后被英国大英博物馆(British Museum)，布里斯托博物馆(Bristol Museum), 美国密西根丹诺斯博物馆(Dennos Museum Center)，荷兰皇家戴尔福特陶瓷博物馆(Royal Delft Museum)，荷兰戴尔福特市政府，印度尼西亚国家画廊(Indonesia National Art Gallery)，韩国京畿道国际陶艺博物馆(KOREA INTERNATIONAL CERAMIC MUSEUM)，中国国家画院，浙江美术馆，河南博物院等机构收藏。2011年，万里雅获得韩国京畿道国际陶瓷艺术双年展竞赛 银奖。这是目前，国际上最重要的陶瓷艺术奖项之一。
Wan Liya is currently the Council Member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC)- China representative (UNESCO official partner in the cultural sector).
Wan Liya began to create ceramic art in 1989 and set up his own ceramic art studio. He is an early artist who participated in modern and contemporary ceramic art activities in China. It has played a positive role in the process of modernity of Chinese ceramic art.After more than 30 years of creative practice, Wan Liya has gradually explored a working style with its own characteristics. The styles of the works show the artists' thoughts on ceramic art and personal work at different period.
Wan liya's works have been collected by British Museum, Bristol Museum in UK, Dennos Museum Center in Michigan, royal Delft ceramics museum in the Netherlands, Delft city government in the Netherlands, Collected by Indonesia National Art Gallery, KOREA CERAMIC FOUNDATION, China National Academy of Painting, Zhejiang Art Museum, Henan Museum and some other institutions.In 2011, Wan Liya won the Silver Award in Incheon International Ceramic Art Biennale Competition. This is one of the most important ceramic art awards in the world in recent years.
