盛画廊举办西班牙艺术家恩里克·梅斯特雷个展——“於無聲處”

恩里克·梅斯特雷(Enric Mestre) 1936年出生，一直生活和工作在西班牙巴伦西亚。联合国教科文组织国际陶艺学会(IAC)荣誉会员。
作为当代世界最具影响力的陶瓷艺术家之一，梅斯特雷通过长期的创作实践，拓展了陶瓷材料和工艺技术的界限，并将其提升为一种独立的雕塑艺术语言。在西班牙，他的名字与豪尔赫·奥蒂扎（Jorge Oteiza）和爱德华多·奇利达（Eduardo Chillida）等人物齐名。
在梅斯特雷的陶瓷作品中，严谨缜密的结构线条，使作品从容而稳固。朴素而庄严的材料质感，仿佛将世界的嘈杂吸收殆尽。这种无声的从容和坚定的沉默，凝聚了莫名能量，又似电闪雷鸣，摄人心魄。
本次展览，是艺术家梅斯特雷在中国的第一个个展，将展出他的艺术历程中的部分代表性作品。
Enric Mestre’s Solo Exhibition in Sheng Gallery
Enric mestre was born in 1936 and has been living and working in Valencia, Spain. Honorary member of International Academy of Ceramics (IAC).
As one of the most influential ceramic artists in the contemporary world, mestre has expanded the boundaries between ceramic materials and technology through long-term creative practice, and promoted it to an independent sculpture art language. In Spain, his name is the same as Jorge Oteiza and Eduardo Chillida.
Mestre's ceramic works are rigorous and meticulous. Structural lines make the work calm and stable. Plain and solemn material texture seems to absorb the noise of the world. This leisurely state and firm silence condenses inexplicable energy, which is also awing as thunder and lightning point directly at people's hearts.
This will be the first solo exhibition of artist Entric Mestre in China, and will show some representative works in his career.
