As one of the "Three Porcelain Capitals of China", the porcelain city Liling hosted this nationwide tour, aiming to reflect the breakthroughs in underglaze multicolored porcelain technology, the innovation of craftsmanship, and the rich diversity of styles through artistic masterpieces of different eras; I also want to use such a comprehensive report exhibition in the capital of Beijing, with the ingenuity of the Liling ceramics people, to bless the birthday of the motherland! 

In this national tour exhibition "Beijing Exhibition", a total of 13 national and more than 40 provincial ceramic art masters, including Chinese ceramic art master Huang Xiaoling, and more than 100 ceramic art works were exhibited, bringing together Liling ceramics old, young and new four Representative masterpieces of contemporary artists, these works have also witnessed many important events in the history of New China. Through this touring exhibition, artists use their artistic mission and talents to offer blessings and respect to the motherland.

Many industry experts and leaders and participating artists gathered in the Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum, enthusiastically exchanged and discussed each other, and jointly expressed their love for the special cultural heritage of Liling. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Shouzhi, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and curator of Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum, said in his speech: “Today there are 40 or 50 artists in Liling, representing the level of contemporary ceramics. In addition to the five or six I know, More are the rising stars who have grown up in the 40 years of reform and opening up, and women account for 70%. Therefore, first congratulate the female ceramic artists in Hunan for becoming the main contemporary force in inheriting and developing the red official kiln ceramics in Liling, Hunan. Liling is an amazing key production area in China, the main base of electric porcelain in China and the world, and an important ceramic teaching base for training college students and designers across the country. It is a special porcelain base with high-tech content and is also a reception for the Great Hall of the People National banquet gift porcelain production base for guests from all over the world. Liling high-temperature underglaze multicolored porcelain is a high-white porcelain fired at a high temperature of 1400 degrees in the world, which is the greenest and most environmentally friendly. Today’s Liling people have been Chinese ceramics during 70 years of development I have made a major contribution to the revitalization and development of the city. I wish Liling artists to create more exquisite works for the future lives of our people and serve the people."

Huang Xiaoling, the president of the Hunan Women Ceramic Artists Association and the participating artist, gave a detailed introduction to the exhibition. She said: "Since the founding of New China, the colorful fire under the glaze in Liling has become more and more prosperous. A large number of ceramic art masterpieces that are constantly innovating and transcending have achieved the reputation of the red official kiln. At the opening ceremony, the national masters and provincial masters from Liling, Hunan also presented their art works to Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum in order to express their gratitude.  

At the end of the opening ceremony, Yang Zhihai, former vice president of China National Light Industry Council and honorary president of China Ceramic Industry Association, delivered a speech and announced the opening of the exhibition. After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, experts from the industry in Beijing held a seminar on the theme of "Revitalization and Development of Liling Underglaze Colorful Art", and the experts actively offered their opinions and suggestions.
