The Fenaki Mirror International Five Schools Dynamic Art Exhibition was initiated by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Art in the United Kingdom, the Goblen School of Animation in France, the California Academy of Art in the United States and the Dusseldorf School of Art in Germany. An international comprehensive exhibition integrating college animation, avant-garde art and experimental imaging and new media art is intended to enhance the art of avant-garde animation, broaden the boundaries of experimental animation art, and promote the integration of the international animation industry. The joint exhibition will be divided into three units, namely the joint exhibition unit, the Feinacci Mirror Award unit and the Feinacci Mirror Dynamic Art Forum. The joint exhibition unit will display seven directions including two-dimensional animation, three-dimensional animation, motion graphics, mapping projection, stop motion animation, visual effects, and dynamic art, bringing together dynamic artworks from five international top art schools. The Feinach Mirror Award unit will invite authoritative experts in dynamic art at home and abroad to evaluate the artistry, graphic expressiveness, and technological avant-garde of the applicant's work, and select the latest and most distinctive avant-garde animation models. The Fenaki Mirror Dynamic Art Forum will invite professors from the above five colleges to share and explore cutting-edge dynamic visual art education, and discuss the possibility of future inter-disciplinary and inter-institutional cooperation. From the history of animation art to the current dynamic artistic trends and technology, a dynamic artistic panoramic discussion is carried out from the fields of colleges, institutions, theory and technology. Place the exploration of Chinese contemporary dynamic art in an international context and examine the multiple possibilities and value trends in the overall context of dynamic art.
Exhibition Preface
"Phenakistoscope" (Phenakistoscope) comes from the earliest video installation in the early 19th century. It uses the persistence of the principle of vision to rotate static images to produce dynamic images. As a result, there is animation in the form of artistic expression. It is also the prototype of silent movies. Nearly two hundred years have passed. From animation art to dynamic art, the technology of "moving" images has been iteratively updated with the development of the times and technological progress. In the contemporary era, new technologies have been formed in the catalysis of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. The generalized "animation" style.
This exhibition was jointly initiated by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Art in the United Kingdom, the California Academy of Art, the Goblen School of Animation in France, and the Art School in Düsseldorf, Germany.
