"Japanese Ceramics Design Exchange Exhibition" will be reopened at Beijing Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum, and the exhibition will last until July 10.

 

China, South Korea, and Japan are close neighbors facing each other across the sea. Since ancient times, they have had deep roots and close exchanges in culture and art. Each of the three countries has a long history of porcelain making. The people learn from each other and learn from each other. , And jointly created a splendid East Asian civilization. At the moment, the main body, content and form of cultural exchanges between China, South Korea and Japan are becoming more and more abundant. The ceramic design exchange exhibition with the theme of "New Trends in Asian Ceramics" has selected nearly 100 pieces from 48 artists from China, South Korea and Japan. The exhibition of works aims to encourage artists to cross different cultural backgrounds, design with more diversified thinking, and interpret the beauty of life. At the same time, it also builds a bridge of friendship through the new collision and integration of the art of the three countries, and promotes common prosperity and prosperity in the future. development of. 

Beijing Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum is China’s premier ceramic art palace and an important window for international cultural exchanges. Opening ceremony 

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Hou Wenquan, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Ceramic Industry Association.

 

Many guests and participating artists gathered at the National Ceramic Art Museum for mutual exchanges and discussions. The important leaders and guests who came to the opening ceremony during their busy schedule were: Han Zaihe, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China and Dean of the Korean Cultural Institute. Zheng Zhi, President of Yuanyang Investment Group; Hou Wenquan, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Ceramic Industry Association; Dong Bo, Vice Chairman of China Ceramic Industry Association; Xu Hongbing, Secretary of Baofeng County Party Committee and County Mayor; Cui Yinhan, President of Korea Ceramic Design Association ;Cui Zaixun, President of the Japan Ceramic Design Association; Chen Yu, Counselor of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Cultural Counsellor of the former Embassy in Japan; Wang Daqi , Counsellor of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Cultural Counsellor of the former Embassies in Mongolia and Korea; Qin Xinmin, former director of the Beijing Office of the Central Liaison Office; Zhang Shouzhi, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and curator of Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum. Secretary-General Hou first invited Mr. Zhang Shouzhi, a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and the curator of Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum, to deliver a speech. Teacher Zhang said: "In 2017, we held the first China and South Korea Ceramic Design Exhibition. As an international exhibition in the field of ceramic design, this year is the second time. This is of great significance to our country because it is directly related to people’s livelihood. In the East and Asia, it has always been our tradition to pay attention to the beauty of food in the food culture. Today, seeing the innovative works of artists from China, South Korea and Japan, just in line with the development direction of personalized, multi-variety, and small-batch production in our era .Our responsibility is to continuously create more, newer and better products for human life today and in the future.

 

Mr. Cui Yinhan, President of the Korea Ceramic Design Association, said in his speech: "South Korea and Japan are only one or two hours away from China by plane. The cultures of the three countries have similarities and many differences. This exhibition shows Design trends in different cultural backgrounds. It is a rare opportunity to be able to appreciate the ceramic works of designers from different cultural backgrounds at the same time in one space, and to communicate directly with them face to face. With the rapid development of technology, many things are already available. Replaced by computers and artificial intelligence, but the more this time, the face-to-face communication between people becomes more valuable. Ceramics, as such a communication link, is also the oldest and most effective in human history, just like everyone can gather here today It is also the power of ceramics. I hope that the fate between us can be as long as ceramics in history." 

 

 

Baofeng County Party Secretary and County Mayor Xu Hongbing said in a speech: "'The head of celadon, Ru kiln is the chief.' Baofeng, Henan is the birthplace of Ruguan kiln, the hometown of Chinese Ru kiln ceramic art, and the hometown of Ru porcelain culture. The ruins of the Ruguan Kiln of Qingliang Temple in Baofeng County is a key cultural relics protection unit in China. Ru porcelain firing techniques are national intangible cultural heritage. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Baofeng County can be the organizer of this exhibition , We feel very honored. With the beauty of ourselves, the beauty of adults, mutual benefit, and sharing of beauty, we sincerely welcome everyone to Baofeng to appreciate the millennium Ru Kiln, taste the Baofeng wine, and discuss the development of ceramics."

 

Han Zaixuan, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China and Dean of the Korean Cultural Institute in China, said: "I sincerely congratulate the 2019 China-Korea-Japan Ceramics Design Exchange Exhibition on the grand opening of the National Ceramic Art Museum in Beijing today. Next is an important part of the opening ceremony-the donation ceremony. On behalf of Baofeng County People’s Government, Xu Hongbing, secretary of the Baofeng County Party Committee and county magistrate, donated Wang Junzi, the non-genetic inheritor of Ru porcelain firing techniques, to Zheng Zhi, President of Yuanyang Investment Group. At the end of the opening ceremony, the host invited Zheng Zhi, President of Yuanyang Investment Group, Dong Bo, Vice Chairman of China Ceramic Industry Association, Cui Yinhan, Chairman of Korea Ceramic Design Association, Cui Jae-kun, Chairman of Japan Ceramic Design Association, Baofeng County Party Secretary, and County Mayor Xu Hongbing and Zhang Shouzhi, curator of Guozhong Ceramic Art Museum, came to the stage to kick off the exhibition.

 

 

Seminar 

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, artists from China, South Korea and Japan jointly held a seminar with industry experts in Beijing on the theme of "New Trends in Asian Ceramics" for in-depth exchanges. During the exhibition, participating artists will also go to Ru Kiln, Baofeng County, Henan Province, a traditional Chinese ceramic production area, for a five-day inspection, creation and exchange activities.
