Artist Biography

Li Wei was born in Liling, Hunan in 1982. Senior arts and crafts artist, member of Hunan Pottery Association, member of Zhuzhou Art Association. After graduating in 2000, he worked in the Arts and Crafts Porcelain Factory. In 2003, he was employed in Liquan Kiln Art and was taught by the Chinese ceramic master Fu Demao. Under the care and guidance of factory leaders and masters, more traditional landscape paintings and flower and bird paintings are created as the themes, combined with modern underglaze colorful techniques. Both cultural literacy and ceramic skills have been greatly improved. His landscape works are elegant in the majesty, and handsome in the tall and straight. Flowers and birds are good at meticulous brushwork, with delicate brushwork without dull body shape. Some achievements have been made in subsequent creations.
