    Artist Biography

    Cui Zhenzhong, male, artist, was born in Liling City, Hunan Province in May 1965.

    In 1979, 14-year-old Cui Zhenzhong was admitted to the apprentice class of Hunan Porcelain Industry Company, specializing in ceramic art and sculpture. In 1982, he transferred to the Provincial Light Industry Technical School to engage in fine arts. In 1983, he graduated from the Provincial Light Industry Technical School and was assigned to Yongsheng, Liling, Hunan. Porcelain factory, engaged in ceramic sculpture design work. During the factory, his art works have won many awards.

    The ceramic sculpture "Priest" designed in 1989 won the third prize of the Provincial Ceramic Art Exhibition. The ceramic work "Boat on Plateau" designed in 1990 won the second prize of the Provincial Ceramic Art Exhibition and the Excellent Award of the Provincial Art Exhibition. In 1991, the woven embossed tableware jointly designed and produced with colleagues won the Provincial New Product Development Award and became the main product of Yongsheng Porcelain Factory that exported porcelain to the United States in recent years. In 1993, because I wanted to improve my professional level, I went to Guangzhou to study sculpture. He once sculpted "Book" for Pan He (tenured professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts). It is 9 meters high and 10 meters long. Liang Mingcheng (Guangmei Deputy Dean), enlarge the sculpture to make Xian Xinghai sculpture and install it on Ershe Island, Guangzhou. Assisted Mr. Liming, the director of Guangmei, in the sculpture production of "Sprint". During his stay in Guangzhou, he had long-term artistic exchanges with artists and sculptors from all walks of life, which greatly improved his sculptural skills and artistic creation ability. During this period, I worked with my colleagues in the sculpture production "Chinese Righteous Dragon" to be placed in Beijing, and designed and produced some sculptures in Kaiping, Guangdong, such as "Flying to the Moon", and several groups of athlete sculptures. While working in Shenzhen, he produced sculptures for Li Ka-shing's real estate company, such as conch, crown, etc., sculptures for Tianjia Company, "Baton", "Mother" and "Indian Tribe" sculptures in Zhuhai. Represented Guangzhou Fangyuan Sculpture Center to participate in Fuzhou Historical and Cultural Corridor Sculpture (200 meters long, 4.5 meters high, a total of more than 1,000 square meters of national large-scale sculptures) on-site art director, instructing the unity of the character modeling and overall style of the stone carving masters , Has been recognized by leaders at all levels in Fuzhou and highly praised by Liang Mingcheng, the vice-president of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts as a sculpture consultant.

    In 1999, he returned to his hometown of Liling to participate in urban sculpture design. Before the Dragon Boat Festival, participated in the Hunan Satellite TV's Dragon Boat Festival large-scale literary evening, representing the on-site sculpture design of the descendants of the Southern Yan Emperor, "Chinese Tenglong" deeply loved by the audience. In 2003, the 14 celebrity heads that were discussed for the sculpture of Changsha Institute of Technology have become a beautiful scenery of the institution.

    In 2004, the sculptures "Eagle" and "Fourth Middle School Cultural Wall" designed and produced for Liling No. 4 Middle School passed the cultural acceptance assessment of provincial middle schools and were awarded "Happy Reading for High School Students" (first half of November 2006).

    In 2005, "Opening" and "Cultural Wall of Alumni and Celebrities of Liling No. 1 Middle School" designed and produced for Liling No. 1 Middle School became the cultural landscape for the 100th anniversary of Liling No. 1 Middle School.

    In 2006, he designed 37 sculptures of celebrity heads for Anyang County, Henan Province and became Yellow River Avenue.

    In 2007, he was elected as a member of the Liling CPPCC.

    In 2008, he was a sculpture "Song of Feelings and Ghosts" on the cultural wall of Liling West Mountain. In the same year, he was elected as the vice chairman of Liling Artists Association.
