Huang Biao has names such as Huang Tuo and Sanqu Hall Master. His ceramic works are directly called Huang Tuo. A native of Liling, Hunan, was born on May 20, 1967. Since childhood, he loved painting and calligraphy. When he was ten years old, he received support and encouragement from teacher Chen Yanglong. He is my enlightenment teacher in painting and has been studying for two years. That is to say, during this period of study and life, I learned for the first time the profoundness of Chinese painting, which inspires me and has a great influence on my continuous learning of painting.

At the age of 12, in 1979, he was admitted to the apprentice class of Hunan Ceramic Industry Corporation to study ceramic art design. I systematically studied the basic knowledge of ceramic art and figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, calligraphy, sketches and colors for four years.

In 1983, he graduated from the apprenticeship class. Entered the Hunan Province Qunli Porcelain Factory and continued to engage in ceramic art study and creation. I met some predecessors at work, such as Li Xiaonian, Li Renzhong, Yi Bingxuan, etc., learning and communicating, made me focus on the tradition to explore in depth. Understanding of different styles, such as pen and ink, individuality, and contemporary issues.

In 1985, he studied at the first national advanced training class for arts and crafts industry at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts at public expense. Classmates come from all corners of the motherland, engaged in various industries of arts and crafts, and are all elites in the industry. The college attaches great importance to it and equipped us with first-class teachers at that time, such as Zhang Ding, Wu Guanzhong, Bai Xueshi, Yuan Yunfu, Zhuang Shouhong, Gong Wenzhen, Dai Shunzhi, etc. Listening to lectures given by famous teachers and viewing numerous paintings not only broadened my horizons, but also comprehensively improved my artistic accomplishments.

Reform and opening up. In 1994, I went south to Guangdong to study and work, during which I studied Western oil painting and design. Improperly sketching, did a lot of copying and design work. Learning and comprehension are hidden in the heart, and it took a few years before it came out as a creative scheme.

Since 2010, my friend and I established a studio (Sanshizhai). In 2012, he studied for one year in the high-level seminar of Chinese painting figures at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Intensively cultivated in Liling's underglaze multicolored ceramic art creation, dedicated to the inheritance and exploration of Chinese traditional literati painting in the field of underglaze multicolored ceramics.

In April 2012, his work "Mountain Living Picture" won the gold medal of the 2nd China (Beiliu) International Ceramics Fair:

In June 2012, his work "Autumn River Xiaowang" won the gold prize of the "Golden Phoenix·Qingdao Division" Innovative Product Design Grand Prix at China (Qingdao) Arts and Crafts Fair.
In July 2013, his work "Nostalgia in Red Cliff" won the gold medal of ceramic works in the 3rd "Earth Award";
In 2013, his work "Panasonic Fuqin" won the gold medal of the "Chinese Arts and Crafts Hundred Flowers Award" at the 9th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair Winter Arts and Crafts Exhibition;
In April 2013, the work "Ya Le" was collected by Hunan Arts and Crafts Association;
In March 2015, the work "Fish Le Tu" won the Silver Award in the China Ceramic Art Exhibition and the 10th National Ceramic Art Design Innovation Competition
In March 2015, his work "The Landscape of a Person in a Bottle" won the "Golden Phoenix" Innovative Product Design Gold Award at the 50th National Arts and Crafts Fair;
In May 2015, his work "Worshiping Stone" won the gold medal of the "China Arts and Crafts Cultural Creativity Award" at the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair;
In June 2015, the work "Looking and Visiting" participated in the second Cannes Chinese Art Week and was collected by the French Museum.

In October 2015, his works were selected into the "85 Central Academy of Arts and Crafts Joint Exhibition of Teachers and Students".
