      Artist Biography

      Zhou Aiping, female, born in 1969, from Liling, Hunan. Senior arts and crafts artist, master of ceramic art in Hunan Province, member of China Ceramic Industry Association, member of Hunan Arts and Crafts Association, vice president of Hunan Female Ceramic Artists Association, artistic director of Liling Side Kiln.

      He has been deeply influenced by traditional culture since he was young and loves painting. In 1989, he graduated from the Hunan Light Industry Technical School with a major in ceramic arts and crafts, and was later assigned to the Liling Qunli Art Porcelain Factory, known as the Hongguan kiln production center, and engaged in painting work in the craft porcelain workshop. Not only is she proficient in a full set of porcelain painting techniques such as hook line and Fenshui, but also has strong painting skills. Her brush strokes are relatively delicate and standardized, and her figures are accurate, which can bring thought and personality to her works.

      As one of the hand-painters of the 2001 version of remade wool porcelain, he has successfully grown into one of the licensed ceramic designers for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and China Red Porcelain Series and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo in China.
