      Artist Biography

      Ding Xiong, born in 1942, a native of Xupu County, Hunan Province, a member of the Provincial American Association, a ceramic artist, and a director of the China Pen Drawing Alliance.

      It has been reported by provincial and municipal TV stations several times, and won many national gold, silver and bronze awards. In 2016, his works entered the Louvre Museum in France. More than one hundred works have been collected by the National Museum and collectors at home and abroad, making it an ideal collection for collectors.

      The colorful underglaze decoration craftsmanship of Liling is rich and colorful after more than 100 years of innovative development. However, Ting Xiong is the first to decorate the underglaze multicolored porcelain in the form of hard pen painting. In the past few years, we have made bold explorations and continuous political advances, and gave full play to the characteristics of hard pen painting, organically combined hard pen painting and underglaze multicolored porcelain decoration to create an underglaze multicolored porcelain decoration completely different from the traditional Liling. It has very different styles and unique features, leaving a deep impression on people.
