Artist Biography

She Hua, male, was born in Shaodong, Hunan in 1940. Senior craft artist, was awarded the honorary title of "Ceramic Lifetime Achievement Master" in 2016. In 1955, he was admitted to the Jiangxi Jingdezhen Ceramic Art School. In 1958, he graduated from the Chinese Art Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute with a blue and white major. In the same year, he worked in Liling Art Porcelain Factory. Transferred to the research institute in 1963. In 1981, he was awarded the title of "Ceramic Art Engineer". In 1988, he was hired as "Senior Arts and Crafts Artist", and in 2005 he was awarded the Provincial Ceramic Art Master. During the working period, he was engaged in the modeling, decoration design and drawing of daily ceramics and artistic ceramics. More than 40 works have been put into production. Art porcelain works have won 12 provincial awards and 4 second prizes at the ministerial level (national). His works have been exhibited abroad for many times, or are collected by domestic museums, or used as national gift porcelain, or published in various publications. His works are distinguished by patterns. He has been able to pay more attention to theoretical investigation and research in his life, and he has published articles in "Hunan Ceramics" and "Chinese Ceramics" magazines. Many works are collected by Chinese and foreign ceramic collectors.
