    Artist Biography

    Peng Ling, female, born in 1963, from Liling, Hunan. Senior arts and crafts artist, Chinese ceramic art master, national intangible cultural heritage-Liling underglaze multicolored porcelain skills inheritor, artistic director of Liling Hongcidian Porcelain Co., Ltd., and main founder of Pengyao 1906 brand. The works inherit and carry forward Liling's traditional underglaze multicolored craftsmanship, and have more unique innovations in color and expression techniques, and fully demonstrate the elegant, bright and gorgeous artistic style. His works have participated in various exhibitions and competitions for many times and won awards. From 2006 to 2007, he was awarded the title of "Collector's Favorite Ceramic Art Master" by the China Collectors Association. In 2007, "Narcissus" won the gold medal of this competition. In 2008, the "Tencel" hanging plate won the Silver Award of the "Harmony Award" in the 43rd International Ceramic Art Conference and the Bronze Award of "Whisper" and was collected by the China Art Museum. In 2009, "Poppy" won the "Best Craft Award" of the Fifth China Arts and Crafts "Hundred Flowers Award"; in October 2009, "Deep in the Bamboo Forest" won the Gold Award of the 10th China Arts and Crafts Masters Exhibition. In 2010, he was promoted to the second Chinese ceramic art master. In recent years, he has represented the ceramic culture of Hunan and has gone abroad for many times. He has received rave reviews. He is a very representative artist in the field of Liling underglaze multicolor, especially heavy color. The works are well received by domestic and foreign professionals and collectors.
