    Artist Biography

    Huang Yijian, male, was born in Liling, Hunan in 1954. Senior crafts artist, Chinese ceramic art master, member of Chinese Artists Association. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University in 1975, and later worked in the design room of Hunan Ceramics Research Institute. In 1979, he was transferred to Hunan Light Industry Technical School to teach. In 1981, he went to Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts for elective and systematic study of Chinese painting techniques and lacquer. The expression technique of painting was later taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shaoguan University. In 1984, the lacquer painting "Wu Bo" was selected into the "First China Lacquer Painting Exhibition", and in 1994 the lacquer painting "Twilight" was selected into the "Seventh National Art Exhibition". The lacquer painting "Morning" was selected in the "Second All Over Sports Art Exhibition", and the Chinese painting "Hua Yin Zhi Yu" was selected in the "Eighth National Art Exhibition". The Chinese painting "Bauhinia" and the oil painting "Tal" were selected for the "Ninth National Art Exhibition", and the oil painting "Macao Street View" was selected for the "Speech at Yan'an Literary Conference" in memory of Comrade Mao Zedong. ". His works are deeply loved and collected by ceramic art lovers from all walks of life.
