Huang Yijian, male, was born in Liling, Hunan in 1954. Senior crafts artist, Chinese ceramic art master, member of Chinese Artists Association. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University in 1975, and later worked in the design room of Hunan Ceramics Research Institute. In 1979, he was transferred to Hunan Light Industry Technical School to teach. In 1981, he went to Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts for elective and systematic study of Chinese painting techniques and lacquer. The expression technique of painting was later taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shaoguan University.
