Shen Yunlan
Born in Dingshu Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province in 1972, he is a senior craft artist. Since childhood, he has been swimming and bathing in the strong cultural atmosphere of ancient pottery for thousands of years. In 1992, he graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts of Jiangsu Yixing Institute of Light Industry. In the same year, he entered the Zisha Craft Factory and followed Jiangsu Provincial Master Gu Daorong as his teacher. In 1995, he entered the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts for advanced studies. . Under the careful preaching and guidance of Master Gu Daorong, he inherited the master's craftsmanship of making purple clay teapots, and is especially good at flowerware.
