Zhang Xing
Born in 1963, PhD. Associate professor of Ceramic Art Design Department, Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, master and doctoral supervisor. Director of the Institute of Traditional Ceramics and Innovation, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, member of the Chinese Artists Association. He has long been engaged in the teaching and research of Chinese traditional ceramic decoration, ceramic technology and modern ceramic art. Served as basic courses such as ceramic design, modeling, decoration, ceramic history, professional creation courses such as modern ceramic art, and graduate professional courses. Many times presided over and participated in research projects above the provincial level. He has published more than ten professional academic papers, and published monographs, personal collections, edited pottery art series, and edited research series. He has served as an academic expert committee member of China Arts and Crafts Association and China Industrial Ceramics Association for many times and participated in the evaluation of national and provincial ceramic art works. Ceramic art works participated in important domestic and foreign exhibitions such as the 9th, 11th, and 12th National Art Exhibition, and were collected by academic institutions such as the National Art Museum of China.
