Wang Yaoling
Born in 1958, he graduated from the Ceramics Department of the former Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1984. Since 1995, he has been an associate professor and master's supervisor in the Ceramic Art Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University.
Engaged in ceramics teaching and design creation for 35 years, focusing on the teaching of daily ceramic modeling and decoration design courses. He is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of the Ceramic Design Center of China Ceramic Industry Association, and the Vice President of the Female Ceramic Artists Branch of China Ceramic Industry Association.
From 1991 to 2018, he successfully held solo and joint exhibitions in France, South Korea, Japan and other countries. His works have been selected for many important exhibitions at home and abroad, and won many awards such as gold, silver and bronze.
He has unique insights in academic theory, and has published more than 10 related professional papers in professional magazines and core journals since 1998.
In 2013, he was awarded the "China Ceramic Art and Design Education Outstanding Contribution Award" by China Ceramic Industry Association.
