Li Hong
Born in 1953, graduated from the original Department of Ceramic Art and Design of the Central Academy of Art and Design in 1982. Now he is an associate professor and master tutor of the Department of Ceramic Art and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, a visiting professor at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and China Industrial Design Association. Standing director, deputy director and secretary general of the ceramic design professional committee.
He has long been engaged in art design teaching and research on forms and utensils, committed to product design and artistic practice of ceramics, sculpture, murals and environmental furnishings art design, striving to explore the combination of traditional cultural elements and modern art forms, and focusing on functional requirements and design in modern life The relationship between innovation and the artistic expression of the work’s modern aesthetic orientation and cultural connotation. Over the years, he has organized and participated in various ceramic competition activities and large-scale public space furnishing art design projects, and created design works to participate in domestic and foreign exhibitions and has won many awards.
