Qiu Chunlin
Born in 1966, from Luling, Jiangxi. Director of the Institute of Arts and Crafts of China National Academy of Arts, Dean, researcher and doctoral supervisor of Zisha Research Institute.
He successively studied in the Chinese Department of Xiamen University, the Art Design Department of Nanjing University of the Arts and the History Theory Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. Published 13 monographs such as "Design and Culture", "Combining China and West-Wang Wei's Design Thought", "Saints and Madmen: A Comparative Study of Van Gogh and Xu Wei", "Cultural Changes in Chinese Handicrafts"; published papers and short reviews More than 130 articles. Presided over 2 key national art subjects and a number of other national subjects, and participated in the formulation and consultation of relevant national cultural policies. Concurrently serve as a national-level intangible cultural heritage review and supervision expert of the Ministry of Culture; a strategy and consulting expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology; a review expert of the National Social Science Planning Art Fund; a review expert of the National Art Fund; an expert committee member of the Chinese traditional village protection of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; sixth and seventh Review expert of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Master; cCTV "Finish the Sound" column expert, etc.
