Jiang Bo
Born in 1961, he received a bachelor's degree in sculpture from Jingdezhen Ceramic University and a master's degree in sculpture from the Repin Academy of Fine Arts, Russia. He is currently a researcher and professor of the Art Creation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Art, a master tutor of the Graduate School, and a member of the Doctoral Degree Evaluation Committee of the Academy. He is a member of the Ceramic Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, a standing director of the Art Committee of the China Ceramic Industry Association, and a member of the Sculpture Art Committee of the Chinese Academy of Arts and Crafts.
His work won the "Sculpture Original Award" of the Sculpture Magazine in 2018, the Gold Award of the "Hundred Flowers Award of China's Arts and Crafts" in 2015, the Gold Award of the "Fifth China Earth Award for Ceramic Works" in 2015, and the Gold Award of the "Chinese Arts and Crafts Huayi Cup" , 2006 First Prize of "Invitation Exhibition of Chinese Young and Middle-aged Sculptor Works".
In 2018, the “National Touring Exhibition of Ceramic Artist Jiang Bo of the Chinese Academy of Art” was held, the “Vision · Jiang Bo Works Exhibition” was held in the National Art Museum of China in 2017, and the “Visual Attitude · Jiang Bo Sculpture Exhibition” was held in Shanghai Orsay Gallery in 2016. In 2015, the "Zhanzhou·Jiang Bo Contemporary Ceramic Art Sculpture Shanghai Tour Exhibition" was held in Shanghai.
Published eight books including "The Collection of Chinese Contemporary Ceramic Artists · Jiang Bo's Works".
