Born in 1937, he is currently a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a director of the Chinese Painting Society, a consultant of the Chinese Women Painters Association, and a member of the Chinese Fine Brushwork Painting Society.
