  He was born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1963,and began to study calligraphy, painting andpottery carving from Mr. Rulian Wu and Mr.Xinhe Shao in 1980.He has been engaged increation and design of purple clay pottery for along time.Graduated from Nanjing NormalUniversity, winded up his studies from ChinaAcademy of Art and Chinese CalligraphersAssociation Training Center.
  His works won many awards, such as the Silver Award of the 10thNational Ceramic Exhibition, the Gold Award of the lst Purple ClayDecoration Megagame and the Golden Phoenix Award of Chinese Artsand Crafts.His works were collected by Nanjing Museum and otherinstitutions.He held exhibitions successively in Nanjing,Beijing andother places, and gave lectures on purple clay many times. He wasawarded the honorary titles of‘Wuxi New Long March Raider’,‘Ten Best People in Dingshu Town’ and ‘Ten Best Youth in YixingCity’ .
