Wang Shuning, female, was born in a family of ceramics in Jingdezhen in 1962, a professor-level arts and crafts artist, a master of arts and crafts in Jiangxi Province, and an expert who enjoys the special allowance of the Jiangxi Provincial Government. Great-grandfather Wang Changbin supervised the imperial kilns in the late Qing Dynasty, and his father Wang Longfu was a master of Chinese arts and crafts. He grew up in a cultural and artistic atmosphere since childhood. In 1977, he studied art with his father. From 1978 to 1981, he studied in the Ceramic Art Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Workers University. After graduation, he returned to the Art and Art Institute for ceramic art creation and design. From October 1991 to October 1992, he was appointed by the organization to work and study at the Emba Art Museum in Japan. In January 1993, he was transferred to Jingdezhen Ceramic Research Institute to engage in ceramic art creation. During the period, he studied in the Chinese Painting Department of China Academy of Art from September 1999 to July 2000, and from September 2011 to July 2013 in the first advanced Chinese painting and calligraphy seminar held by the Department of Higher Education and Personnel of the Ministry of Education. He is currently the director of the Technical Office and the director of the Art Creation Center of Jingdezhen Ceramic Research Institute.
