当我们翻开历史的画卷，将目光投向数百年前，马尼拉大帆船曾承载着琳琅满目的中国瓷器驶向拉丁美洲，陶瓷所蕴藏的中国器物和文化之美深深影响了这片大陆。时光荏苒，转瞬到了2023年冬天，拉美陶瓷乘着中拉友谊之船，以华丽之姿齐聚中国瓷都景德镇。

As we delve into the pages of history and cast our gaze back centuries, the Manila galleons emerge carrying a diverse array of Chinese ceramics to Latin America, leaving an indelible mark of Chinese artifacts and culture on this continent. Fast forward to the winter of 2023, Latin American ceramics, aboard the ship of Sino-Latin friendship, converge in the renowned Chinese porcelain capital, Jingdezhen, in all its splendid glory.

About the Exhibition

“多元的世界”  2023年拉美陶瓷艺术邀请展精选来自阿根廷、古巴、秘鲁、厄瓜多尔、哥伦比亚、乌拉圭、萨尔瓦多等国家艺术家的61件/套，涵盖以陶瓷为媒介的器皿、雕塑、装置和影像等。中国和拉美及加勒比各国虽然距离遥远，希望此次展览能进一步促进中国和拉美及加勒比地区的文化交流与合作，以瓷为媒，增进双方民众间的文化理解和友谊。

展览中有10余件（套）作品是7位拉美艺术家于2023年金秋来华采风创作活动期间创作。他们在景德镇参访古代窑址和老瓷厂，了解这里的文化底蕴、市井故事，与当地的艺术家和学者进行思想的交流与碰撞。最终呈现的每件作品都凝聚着艺术家之间的深情厚谊。

“DIVERSE WORLD”  2023 Latin American Ceramic Art Invitational Exhibition shows 61 pieces (sets) of works selected from artists in Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, El Salvador, and other countries. and covers vessels, sculptures, installations and images using ceramics as a medium. Although China and Latin America and the Caribbean countries are far apart, it is hoped that this exhibition will further promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean, and enhance cultural understanding and friendship between the two populations using ceramics as a medium.

More than 10 pieces (sets) of the exhibited works were created by seven Latin American artists during China Tour in the fall of 2023, where they explored ancient kiln sites and old porcelain factories in Jingdezhen, learning about the cultural heritage and local stories, engaging in thoughts and collisions with local artists and scholars. Each presented piece embodies the deep friendship among the artists.

About the Curators

景德镇陶瓷大学副校长，江西省美术家协会主席，中央美术学院教授、博士生导师，中国美术家协会理事，国家重大主题美术创作委员会委员、中国美协雕塑艺术委员会副主任、秘书长，中国城市雕塑协会副主席，中国雕塑学会副会长，国务院第四届全国艺术专业学位研究生教育指导委员会委员，“国务院政府津贴”专家。

托比恩·卡瓦斯博（Torbjørn Kvasbø）生于1953年，是挪威最有国际知名度的艺术家之一。他毕业于卑尔根艺术学院 (KHiB)，现生活、工作于灵厄比市（Ringebu）的维纳比格德（Venabygd）区域。在职业生涯中，卡瓦斯博曾先后任教于瑞典哥德堡大学设计与手工艺学院（HDK-Valand）和瑞典国立艺术与设计大学学院（Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design），均担任陶瓷艺术系的系主任一职。与此同时，他也与许多艺术学院有着紧密的合作关系，其中包括给奥斯陆和卑尔根地区的艺术学院，以及伦敦的皇家学院（Royal College）担任评委等。从1990年起，他便是国际陶艺学会（IAC）的成员之一，并在2018年到2024年出任国际陶艺协会的主席。
